We're located at Shop Number 1 in the Quadir Complex, right on the main road in Barbil. If you know Keonjhar, you know it's a pretty busy place with all the mining and industrial stuff going on all the time. We mostly deal with the various parts and equipment that the local guys need for their daily work. The office is pretty basic and functional. We have a few plastic chairs for when people come in to sit and talk about what they need for their site. There’s a lot of red dust from the trucks outside, so we’re always having to wipe down the counters and the display cases. We’ve been here in this spot for a long time. My uncle used to run things years ago, but now we all pitch in to keep it moving. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People just know where we are located. We keep a big handwritten logbook for all the orders we take. Sometimes the shipments from the bigger cities are late, and we have to spend the morning on the phone explaining that to the customers. It’s just part of the job. The main road is always noisy with heavy trucks passing by. We try to keep the common parts in stock, but sometimes we have to special order things. It takes a few days to arrive. We’re just a small operation and do all our own lifting.
