Our shop is usually full of iron parts, tools, and different pieces of equipment used for farming. It’s a bit noisy with all the metal and the traffic from the Chowk right outside our door. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just know what kind of plow or blade works best for the soil in this specific region. We spend a lot of our time fixing things or helping someone pick out the right tool for their tractor. It’s a practical business. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this shop window. People stop by for some sweets next door and then come over to talk about their crops or a machine that’s acting up. It’s a community thing for us. We just try to keep the inventory stocked with what’s actually useful for the work. Nothing fancy, just hard-working tools for hard-working people. We like being part of the daily life here in Baraut and helping out where we can. It keeps us going and gives us a sense of purpose at the end of the week.
