Choudhary Aluminium Trading Corporation

We are located right on the Bijrol Baoli Link Road, right in the middle of the Jaat College Market. Being near Ghasiram Gate means there is always a lot of foot traffic, especially with students and shopkeepers moving about. Our shop is filled with long pieces of aluminium and stacks of frames that take up most of the floor space. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes. The sound of metal being moved around is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We spend hours measuring and cutting things down to size for whatever someone needs for their house or shop. It gets dusty, and the floor is always covered in small silvery shavings that are hard to sweep up. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. Instead, people just walk in and show us their measurements on a scrap of paper or a piece of cardboard. We talk through what they need while the tea cools on the edge of the workbench. Dealing with the suppliers can be a headache when the trucks are late, but we manage to keep things moving. Most of the other shop owners around here are friends, so we often share a meal or help each other out with unloading. It's a crowded, noisy, busy place but it’s where we belong.
