Grey Tree Textile

We've been here in Barasat for a while now, specifically right by Helabottala More in the Aro Ekbari area. People around the 24 Parganas North district usually find us easily because of that local landmark. It's just a regular textile place. We spend our days dealing with different fabrics and rolls of cloth. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered when new stock comes in, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. My family started this because we knew a bit about weaving and cloth, and it just grew from there. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's more of a practical space where we keep the materials. We see a lot of the same faces coming back, which is nice. Most mornings start with dusting the shelves and checking what needs to be moved. It can be hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. If you’re walking near the more, you’ll probably see the sign. We handle various types of textiles, nothing too out of the ordinary, just the stuff people need for their homes or small projects. The neighborhood is fairly quiet except for the traffic near the crossing. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the colors and patterns just end up everywhere. It’s a job we know how to do. Not much else to say really, we just open up every morning and wait for the day to start.
