Gobinda Chandra Seth Foundation

We set up the Gobinda Chandra Seth Foundation right here on Krishnapur Road. Our office is just a simple ground-floor shop at number 42/5. Most days are spent just keeping the daily stuff running. The foundation began because a few of us noticed things in the neighborhood that really needed attention. We aren't some large or fancy organization with a big staff. It is mostly just a few of us doing the actual work. People often stop by to chat or ask questions about what we are doing lately. Being so close to the road means the shop gets a little dusty, but the location is easy for everyone to find. We prefer to keep things straightforward. Nobody in this office wears a suit or gives long, polished speeches. We just handle the chores and try to be helpful whenever it is possible. Sometimes the paperwork on the desks gets a bit overwhelming, but that is the reality when you're a small operation. Krishnapur is a busy neighborhood, so there is always something going on just outside our front door. We have been at this address for quite some time, and it has started to feel like home. If you walk past 42/5, you will see our sign. It isn't much to look at, but it is where our work happens. We just do our bit in this corner of the city. Usually, we are here from morning until the sun goes down.
