Colours

Colours is the name of our shop. We are located right at Bijaynagar Gate No 1, which is on Sodepur Road here in Kolkata. If you know where the Khadims store is, we are just opposite that. It is a good spot because the road stays busy and there are always people walking by. We have been working out of this space for a while. It is not a very large place, just enough room for us to do our daily tasks. We deal with a lot of people from the local area who just drop in while they are out shopping. The area around Sodepur Road can get quite congested, but that is just how Kolkata is. We try to keep the shop organized, though things can get a bit messy when it is a full house. We don't use a lot of technical words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We just provide the services people ask for. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of life here. We have a few chairs and the basic equipment needed for the day. Being across from Khadims helps people find us easily. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local business trying to make a living on Sodepur Road. We are open most days and see all kinds of people coming through the gate.
