My setup is over at Sinchan Nagar Co-Operative Housing, which is 9/2 on the list if you’re looking for the exact spot. It’s right off Taki Road in the Barasat area. Working from a housing society is a bit different than having a shop on a main street. It’s a bit quieter once you get inside the gate, which I like when I have a lot of work to focus on. But Taki Road itself is always buzzing with buses and autos. I’ve lived and worked around here for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. Most of the time it’s just me dealing with whatever tasks are on my plate for the day. I don’t go for anything too corporate. I prefer just sitting down with whoever comes by and talking things through normally. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to say hello, which can slow things down, but that’s the nice part about being in a co-operative. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space with my stuff organized the way I like it. It can get a bit cramped when there’s a lot going on, but we manage. Living and working in the same general area means I don’t have to deal with a long commute, which is a blessing in Kolkata traffic. I’ve been at this for many years now.
