If you head down to Station Road in Chhabra, you’ll find SHREE RAM SWARNA NIDHI LIMITED there. The office is basically run by the family, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. Rambabu Soni is the one who really keeps things together here. It’s a busy street because of the railway station nearby, so there is always a lot of movement. You can hear the trains whistling at all hours of the day. Our office is a simple place where people come to talk about their gold or their savings. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or shiny floors. It’s just a solid, old-fashioned office with heavy wooden desks. We know the people who come in; they are our neighbors and friends. Sometimes a conversation that should take five minutes ends up taking half an hour because we start talking about the weather or the local crops. That’s just how we do things in Chhabra. We aren't in a rush to become some giant company. We just want to make sure the people who come to us feel heard and get their work done correctly. The sun gets really strong on Station Road in the afternoons, so we usually keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. It’s a honest day’s work for us, and we are happy to be where we are. We've seen a lot of changes on this street, but our office stays pretty much the same.
