Shanti Hospital And Res. Ctr.

We are located right across the street from the government hospital in Bara. Being in that spot means we see a lot of the overflow from people who don’t want to wait in the long lines over there. It’s a constant stream of people crossing the road between the two buildings. Our place, the Shanti Hospital and Research Centre, is usually humming with activity from early morning until late at night. The lobby isn't very big, so people often end up standing outside on the steps while they wait for their turn. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when the pharmacy delivery arrives and we have to move boxes through the crowd. We have a research wing too, though it’s tucked away in a quieter part of the building so the doctors can concentrate. The walls are a bit scuffed from stretchers hitting them, and the benches are hard wood, but they do the job. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to polish our image. We just have the staff who show up every day to do their shifts. Bara is a busy area, and we’re just one part of the medical landscape here. We take things as they come, dealing with whatever issues the patients bring in. It’s a noisy, busy, and very real place to work.
