Self Employed Chartered Accountant

I work as a self-employed Chartered Accountant out of Baran. My office is located with V.K. Jain and Co., which is inside the B.C. Jain and Sons building on Station Road. Station Road is a very busy part of town. There is always noise from the traffic and people moving about. It’s a good place to be because everyone passes by here. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden cupboards full of files and big ledgers. I share the space, so it’s a bit of a communal atmosphere. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news between doing tax returns. Being in Baran, we deal with a lot of traders and small shopkeepers. Their books are sometimes a bit messy, but we sort them out. I’ve been doing this for a while now. The pin code here is 325205. It’s a practical location. I don't have a big staff. It's mostly just me and a couple of helpers. We don't do anything fancy. We just make sure the GST and the income tax are handled correctly. It’s a lot of typing and checking figures twice. Station Road is always lively, so there is never a dull moment outside the window while I am working on the balance sheets. It is a simple life of numbers and paperwork in a busy street, and I enjoy the daily routine of it.
