Life starts very early for us here at Gupta News Agency. We are located on the Main Road, near the Railway Station Road in Kasbathana. Because we are so close to the Krishi Upaj Mandi, there is always some kind of activity happening, even before the sun comes up. The big bundles of newspapers usually arrive while it is still dark outside. We have to sort through them quickly so the delivery boys can get them out to the houses on time. It involves a lot of counting and folding, which can be hard on the hands when the morning air is cold. During the day, the pace slows down a bit. People stop by to pick up magazines or just to talk about what is happening in Taluka Baran. Our shop is small and has been a part of this community for a long time. We also keep a few basic stationery items on the shelves for people who need them. The noise from the railway station nearby is something we don't even notice anymore. It is a simple kind of life, and we don't really get to take holidays because the news never stops coming. By the time I head home for my lunch, my fingers are usually stained black from all the newspaper ink. We just keep the papers moving and serve the local people who come to our door every day.
