Arora General Store

Arora General Store is situated right at the Alod Bus Stand. Because of the location, we see a lot of travelers passing through. We sell a bit of everything, from soap and toothpaste to snacks and cold drinks. The shelves are packed tight because we try to have whatever a person might have forgotten to pack for their journey. It is always loud with the sound of the buses pulling in and the conductors shouting out the destinations. We have a small fridge for the sodas that hums quite loudly. Being at the Alod Bus Stand means the shop is never really empty for long. We spend a lot of time giving people directions or telling them when the next bus to the city is coming. The floor is mostly dusty from all the foot traffic. We have a small counter where we keep the candies and change. It is a busy life but we enjoy talking to the different people who stop by. Arora General Store is a simple brick building with a blue door. We don't have any fancy displays, just the goods stacked where people can see them. Sometimes when a bus breaks down, the shop gets really full of people waiting. We just keep serving the tea and biscuits until the road is clear again. It is a good spot to see the world go by and the sun set over the terminal.
