Hamsai Foundation

Hamsai Foundation is based at Tariq Ramzan Bhat’s place, which is house number 91 in Dardporakhawaja Bagh, Baramulla. Since we are in a residential area, our office feels more like a home than a business. We don't have any big signs or corporate logos on the walls. It is just a quiet place where a few of us get together to handle the foundation’s work. Baramulla is a nice place to live and work, and we are glad to be right here in the middle of the community. We aren't a large organization with lots of employees. It's just a small team of local people. Our daily routine is mostly about staying on top of the paperwork and responding to whatever comes our way. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the door ourselves when someone knocks. The office can get a bit cluttered with papers and tea cups, but it is a comfortable place to work. We don't use any fancy marketing language because we don't really need to. People in the neighborhood know who we are and where to find us. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times it’s a bit overwhelming, but that is just how it goes. We don’t try to make our foundation sound like more than it is. We are just local people doing a job in Dardporakhawaja Bagh, trying to keep things organized as best as we can.
