Haben Pharmaceuticals Private Limited

Down in Indergam Pattan, things move at their own pace. We are Haben Pharmaceuticals, and our setup is right here in the Baramulla district. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of orchards and small shops. Our building is easy to spot if you are looking for it. We spend most of our mornings checking the temperature for the medicines we keep on the shelves. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and checking batch numbers on the back of the packs. The roads out here can be a bit rough, especially after it rains, so the delivery vans sometimes get delayed. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People in Pattan and the surrounding villages just know we are the ones handling these supplies. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the suppliers from outside the state. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a lot of filing cabinets. We keep everything organized as best as we can, though papers sometimes pile up when we get busy. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay on top of the inventory. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the stock count. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Baramulla. We just want to make sure the shelves stay full for the local chemists.
