Green Valley

Green Valley is a small operation run out of S/O Abdul Aziz Dar R/O Gulbadan Pora, right by the National Highway. Being near the highway means we get a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing through, but it also makes it easy for us to get where we need to go. The place is more of a workspace than a shop you’d walk into to browse. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city center, but we like it that way because it gives us more room to breathe. We deal with various local things, and the day usually starts early before the sun gets too high. The building itself is simple, and we’ve done a bit of work on it ourselves over the years to keep it in good shape. There’s usually some mud on the floor from boots coming in and out, especially when it rains. We don't have a secretary or anyone like that; if the phone rings, one of us just picks it up while we’re working. It’s a straightforward kind of life here at Gulbadan Pora. We know the neighbors and they know us, which is how business usually gets done in these parts. We don't put on any airs about what we do. We just show up and handle the tasks that are in front of us until the sun goes down. The road can be loud with the wind too, but we just close the door and get on with things. It’s a practical setup for our work.
