About Glass Fiber Door – Building & Construction Material in Baramulla
Our workshop is in Baramulla, right near the Masjid Shirir. You can usually hear the calls to prayer while we’re working. We make doors out of glass fiber. It’s a messy job sometimes, with dust and the smell of the resin we use. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful where we step when we have a lot of orders going. We’ve got a few saws, some molds, and some painting tools scattered around. It’s just a handful of us here. We don't wear uniforms or have fancy office chairs. Most of the time we’re in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grit. People from the neighborhood stop by to see what we’re building or to ask about a door for their house. The weather here can get quite cold, so we usually have a heater going in the winter. We don't have a big storefront with lights. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. We talk about the news or what’s happening in the town while we sand down the edges of a new door. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make doors that last and keep the rain out. Being near the mosque means there's always someone walking by, which keeps the place feeling connected to the community. We just keep our tools sharp and our hands busy until the day is over.
