Delhi Public School

Our branch of Delhi Public School is out in Delina, Baramulla. It’s a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main town center, but that means we have a bit more space around us. The mornings here are often misty, and you can see the hills in the distance when the clouds clear up. We have several yellow buses that go out early to pick up the children from all the nearby villages and neighborhoods. The school building is quite large and has a lot of windows to let in the natural light. We keep things moving at a steady pace. Between the bells ringing and the teachers moving their bags from one room to another, there isn't much quiet time until the afternoon. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with notebooks and tea cups. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here; it's more about the actual work of teaching. Sometimes the winter makes things difficult, but we manage to keep the classes running. The kids here are energetic and spend their lunch breaks running across the grounds. We just try to provide a normal, honest environment where everyone can do their best. It’s a simple setup with classrooms, a playground, and a lot of hard work happening every day under the Baramulla sky. Most of the people working here are from the local area themselves.
