C.R.K. CONSTRUCTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

C.R.K. Constructions is over in Dewan Bagh, right near the girls school in Baramulla. It’s a busy little corner of the world, especially when the kids are heading home and the streets get packed. We’ve been set up here at number 01 for a while. Our work is mostly the regular construction stuff you see happening all over Jammu and Kashmir. We deal with bricks, cement, and a lot of heavy lifting. The winters here in Baramulla can be really tough on the job, so we have to plan around the snow and the cold. There are days when we can’t get anything done because the ground is just too frozen, so we end up sitting in the office drinking tea and talking about the next project. We are an OPC, so it’s a small operation, mostly just me and a few hands I hire when the work gets heavy. We don’t go around saying we are the biggest because we aren't. We just take on the jobs we can handle and try to finish them without too much fuss. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of costs which seem to go up every month. We’ve worked on a few houses nearby and some small commercial spots. People know where to find us if they need a wall built or a roof fixed up. We just keep our heads down and get the bricks laid as fast as we can.
