Sugi Electronic Corporation

Our place is in Pandare, which is a quiet village area in the Pune district. We aren't a big corporation despite the name. It’s actually a small, family-run electronics shop that’s been here for quite many years. We mostly handle repairs for the people living in and around Pandare. You’ll find all sorts of things in our shop, from old television sets waiting for parts to smaller gadgets that people have brought in to see if they can be saved. The air usually smells a bit like solder and old dust. We don't have a fancy display window or a team of sales staff. It’s just us at the workbench, looking through magnifying glasses at tiny components. Being in a place like Pandare, you get to know everyone who comes through the door. We don't do any big promotions or spend money on ads. People just know that if something electronic stops working, they can bring it to us and we’ll give it a look. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to come in from Pune city, but our customers are usually pretty patient. We just try to be fair and do a good job so that things stay fixed. It’s a quiet life, but there’s always something to tinker with. We just take it one repair at a time and keep the shop open for whoever needs us.
