Selva International

We are based at Viswam Sizing Compound in Baradi Nagar. Selva International has been operating out of this industrial area for quite some time now. Being inside a compound means we share the space with a few other businesses, so there is always a lot of movement and noise from machinery nearby. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the weather is dry and the wind picks up. The office we have is small and stays fairly cool, which is a relief during the summer months. There is a large gate at the entrance of the compound that sometimes gets stuck on its tracks, so we have to give it a good shove. Our workspace is strictly functional. We have old metal filing cabinets and calendars from three years ago still hanging on the walls. We don't really bother with making the place look polished because that isn't why we are here. Lunchtimes are usually spent sitting outside near the back wall where there is a bit of shade. The neighbors in the other units are good people, and we all look out for each other. Baradi Nagar has grown a lot since we first arrived, with more buildings popping up every year. Despite all the changes outside, things inside our unit stay pretty much the same. We just focus on the day's work and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
