We operate out of Dhadhvara in Tikait Nagar, specifically at the place of Sri Pal Vishkarma in Pure Dalai, Barabanki. Our office is more like a room in a house where we keep all our records and a big metal safe for the books. There are always people coming by to ask questions or drop off their papers for us to look at. We don't have fancy uniforms or big corporate offices with secretaries. We just sit around the table and get the work done together. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we have a mat for people to wipe their feet before they come in. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now, and most of the faces we see are familiar ones from the village. It’s all about the local folks helping each other out. We keep our books manually for the most part because it feels more reliable and real. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the small stall nearby while we work through the hot afternoon hours.
