You can find Chandra Foods & Beverages at E-20 in the UPSIDC area on Kursi Road. We’re out in Barabanki, which is a good spot for us. The industrial estate is always humming with activity. We’ve got a decent-sized unit here where we process our stuff. I’m usually there by 6 am to get everything warmed up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the bottles go by and checking the labels, but it has to be done. We have about ten people working here now, most of them live just a short bike ride away. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just try to make sure nothing breaks and the orders get loaded onto the trucks correctly. Sometimes the Kursi Road traffic is a nightmare, especially when it rains and the potholes get deep. We’ve had a few delivery delays because of that, but we do our best. Inside the unit, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and the smell of whatever we’re bottling that day. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place. I spend half my time in the small office and the other half on the floor helping out where I can. We aren't fancy people. We just run a food and beverage business and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of long hours, but we’re used to it by now. There is always a new challenge every week.
