Ajanta Hospital

Ajanta Hospital is situated at Naka Paisar, right near the Ambedkar Hostel. It is a pretty well-known landmark in this part of town, so most rickshaw drivers know exactly where to drop you off. Being near the hostel means there are always people around, and we have become a part of the daily life here. We deal with all kinds of medical issues that come through the door day and night. The building is simple and we keep the focus on the patients who need help. It is not a fancy place with shiny floors but we keep it clean and the equipment works. Sometimes it gets quite busy, especially in the rainy season when everyone seems to be getting sick at the same time. We have a team of people who have been working here for years and they know the local community well. If you are looking for us, just head towards Naka Paisar and look for the hostel; we are right there nearby. We don't have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It is just a local hospital trying to help out the neighbors when they are under the weather. We try to explain things in plain English so everyone understands what is going on with their health.
