The Bliss- Srinagar

The Bliss- Srinagar is located over at Nai Sadak in the Bar Bar Shah area. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always something going on outside. We aren’t a giant five-star hotel with gold doorknobs or anything like that. We’re just a modest place where people can stay when they are visiting the city. The building itself is a bit older, which gives it some character, though it also means there’s always something that needs a bit of paint or a quick repair. We have a small staff of local people who help with the cleaning and the cooking. Most of our guests are just regular travelers looking for a place to sleep that isn’t too expensive. We try to keep the rooms tidy and the tea hot. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic on Nai Sadak, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby. It’s just a front desk and a few hallways. We’ve had all sorts of people stay with us, from students to families. We spend a lot of our time just making sure the water is running and everyone has what they need for the night. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there in Bar Bar Shah, tucked in among the other shops and houses. It’s a busy corner of Srinagar, for sure.
