You can find us at D.NO.14-38, near Mahalixmi Chettudhanthampeta. This is a producer company, which means we work closely with the people actually making the cloth. Chirala is famous for handlooms, and we are right in the middle of it. It’s not a fancy setup. The building is older and has character, much like the handloom work itself. We spend our days coordinating between the weavers and the buyers. There is always a lot of talk about thread counts and dye colors. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps of yarn and cloth. We don't mind the mess though because it shows we're actually working. We are a group of people who just understand how cloth is made. It takes a lot of patience to do this kind of work. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules; we just try to be fair and get the handloom products out to people who want them. The area around Mahalixmi is usually quite active, especially in the mornings when everyone is starting their shifts. We've had our ups and downs like any business, but we keep the doors open. We don't spend money on fancy ads. Word of mouth usually brings people to us. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We like the rhythm of the looms and the constant activity in the shop.
