We are located in Vivekananda Nagar, which is part of the Kotha Peta rural area in Chirala. Our address is 2-102-3. This area is very much connected to the handloom tradition that Chirala is known for. You can often hear the sound of looms if you walk down the nearby streets. At Breadcrumb Private Limited, we are part of that whole environment, specifically tied in with Ksr Hand Looms. The office is very basic. It’s tucked away in a residential-feeling street where people know their neighbors. It is not like the big offices you see in Hyderabad or Vizag. We have stacks of registers and some samples of cloth lying around most of the time. The weather in the Prakasam district is usually quite dry and the sun is sharp. We start our work early to avoid the worst of the heat. Most of our day is spent talking to the weavers or checking on the progress of different batches. It’s slow work and you can’t really rush it. We don’t have a big sign outside or a lobby. If you come looking for us, you might have to ask someone on the street for the exact house. We like the pace here. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the local way of doing things. We just try to stay organized and keep the business running as best as we can.
