About Swastik Engineering Works – Engineering in Banswara
Our workshop is at 11 Rati Talai, right in the Ambamata Market area. It's a good spot because everything we need is close by. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now, working on all sorts of engineering repairs and custom jobs that people bring in. The market is always crowded, so there's a lot of activity outside our doors from morning until late evening. Inside, it’s mostly the smell of oil and the sound of metal being cut or welded. We aren’t a big factory or anything like that. It’s just Swastik Engineering Works, a place where we use our hands and a few old reliable machines to fix things. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or signs. The sign we have is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us. Most of the folks who come in are regulars from around the neighborhood or other businesses in the market. We take things as they come. If a job is tough, we sit down, have a bit of water, and figure it out together. The benches are scarred from years of work, and there’s always a pile of scrap in the corner waiting to be cleared out. We don’t really have a set routine other than showing up and seeing what needs doing. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours and we’re used to the way things work here in Rati Talai. We just do the daily work and go home when the job is done.
