Anurag Academy

Anurag Academy is located right opposite the S. B. P. Government College in Shastri Colony. Because we are right across from the college, we see a lot of students passing by all day long. The atmosphere is always full of energy, though it can get a bit loud during the breaks. Our space is filled with desks and chairs and a lot of old books that have seen better days. We don't have fancy air conditioning or marble floors. It’s just a place for learning. We spend our mornings getting everything ready for the students. There is always a lot of chalk dust and the sound of pens scratching on paper. Sometimes the fans overhead make a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. The staff here are mostly local people who have been in education for a long time. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help people study and try to explain things in a way that makes sense. Shastri Colony is a quiet enough neighborhood once you get away from the main road. We like it here because it feels like a community. You see the same faces every day, and you get to know the families around here. It’s not a corporate school. It’s just a small academy where we do our bit every day and try to help the kids get through their exams.
