Sapotara Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at 67 Gujjar Mohalla in Choura Gaon. This is right in the Sapotara tehsil. We are a small operation, mostly run by the people who actually live and work in this village. It’s a tight-knit community here in the Gujjar Mohalla area. We started the company because we wanted to have more control over how our crops are handled after they leave the field. Usually, it’s just a few of us sitting around a wooden table, going over the numbers and planning for the next sowing season. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is what we know. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the village and the fields. We handle the paperwork for the farmers here so they can focus on their land. Sometimes the rains are late, and sometimes the prices at the market drop, but we just keep moving forward. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just speak plain English and talk about what matters, like seeds and soil. Our office is just a room in the village where people can drop in and talk. We’ve been part of this landscape for a long time, and the company is just another way for us to stick together and make sure the farming life stays viable for everyone in Sapotara.
