Sanmati Provisional Stores

Sanmati Provisional Stores is situated on Dahod Road, right in the heart of Khadu Colony. We have been serving the families around here for quite some time now. Our shop is where people come to get their monthly groceries like rice, dal, and cooking oil. We also keep a lot of small things that people realize they ran out of at the last minute, like matches or salt. The store is usually a bit cramped because we try to stock as much as possible to make sure we don't run out of the basics. Dahod Road can get pretty busy with trucks, but inside the colony, it is a bit quieter. We know most of our customers by their names and we know what they usually like to buy. It is a very personal way of doing business. We don't have any barcodes or fancy scanners; we just know the prices and do the math ourselves. The floors are swept every morning, but with people coming in from the dusty road, it doesn't stay clean for long. We have a small bench outside where some of the older men sometimes sit and talk for a while. It’s a simple neighborhood shop and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be anything more than a reliable place for the people of Khadu Colony to get what they need. It is a long day from morning till night but it feels good to be part of the community.
