Raj Enterprises & General Store

Raj Enterprises & General Store is down on Custom Road, specifically near the Raj Talalb Road junction. It’s a spot that stays pretty active because of all the people moving between the two roads. We started this place as a general store because people in this part of town needed a reliable spot to pick up their daily essentials. You can find almost anything here, from small household items to snacks and toiletries. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you are looking for, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear on the doorframe from all the years of people coming in and out. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front so folks know it is us. Sitting here on Custom Road, we get to hear all the local gossip and see the kids growing up as they come in for sweets after school. It’s a steady kind of life. We open the shutters early in the morning when the air is still cool and we don’t close up until late. It is a lot of standing and reaching for jars on high shelves, but we are used to it by now. We just want to keep the shop running well for the neighborhood. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot something.
