Navjivan Health Care Clinic

Down in Sujaji ka gara, near the post in Metwala, you’ll find Navjivan Health Care Clinic. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but for the people living nearby, it’s the local spot. The building is simple and doesn’t have much to look at from the outside. Inside, we have just the basics needed to help people out. It gets pretty quiet out here compared to the bigger towns, which is nice most of the time. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just the everyday aches and pains that come with working on the land or in the village. Sometimes we have to wait for supplies to be delivered from further away, so things might look a bit bare on the shelves occasionally. We don’t have a big fancy waiting room with a TV, just some wooden benches and a fan that squeaks a little. The people who come here are our neighbors, so we spend a bit of time chatting about the weather or the crops before getting down to business. It’s a slow pace of life in Metwala, and our clinic reflects that. We do what we can with what we have. It’s a small operation, but it’s been serving this patch of ground for a while. We just open up, see who needs help, and close up when the day is done. It's a plain life but good.
