About Mehta Krishi Yantra – Agriculture & Farming in Banswara
Over in Gandhi Market in Nai Abadi, we run Mehta Krishi Yantra. It’s where we keep all the farm tools and equipment. The shop is full of metal—plows, blades, and smaller hand tools. It’s heavy stuff, so the floor is a bit beat up. We spend our days talking to farmers who come in from the surrounding villages. They know what they need, and we help them find it. It isn't a clean, polished showroom. There is grease on the tools and iron dust on the shelves. We don't have a website or a big sales team. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes we have to help someone load a heavy piece of equipment into their trailer. The market is always crowded, so it’s never quiet here. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People come to us because we’ve been here and we know the tools. We don't promise anything fancy. If a tool works, it works. We just keep the stock ready for the season. It’s a simple way to make a living and we are used to the hard work. Sometimes it's hot in the shop and the metal gets warm, but we just keep going. We handle the repairs ourselves most of the time. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't need fancy desks to sell a good plow. That is just how we operate.
