Matsyaavataar Mitra Fish Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Banswara in Rajasthan. To find us, you have to go to Chhoti Sarvan, specifically to the place of Jhhamku Aadibhet in Kutumbi. It is a very rural area and we are right in the middle of it. Our work is all about fish farming. We are a group of local people who came together to manage our fish production. Banswara has plenty of water bodies, so this kind of work is very common here. Our office is just a simple building in the village where we meet to discuss the catch and the sales. We do not have any corporate managers or a marketing department. It is just us, the fish farmers, trying to make things work. The roads can be a bit dusty and rough, especially during the rains, but we manage to get the fish to where they need to go. We spend most of our time near the water or at the village site. It is a quiet life and the work is physically demanding, but it is what we know. We do not use any fancy technology, just the traditional methods that have worked for us for a long time. It is an honest way to live and we are just focusing on the daily tasks of the farm. Sometimes the harvest is good and sometimes it is not, but we just keep going.
