Our place is at G-76 and spreads across 85-88 on Road Number 5 in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s a big space because marble takes up a lot of room. At Kushalbagh Marble Pvt. Ltd., we don't have much time for sitting around. There is always a truck coming in or someone needing something moved. The noise from the cutting and the water running is just part of the background here. We have been in this specific patch of the industrial area for a good while, so we know the neighbors and the way things work around here. It gets pretty loud during the day, and you definitely wouldn't want to wear your best clothes to visit us. Most of the time, we are just dressed in whatever is comfortable and can handle a bit of mud or stone dust. We don't really bother with big speeches about what we do. It is just marble, after all. You cut it, you polish it, and you send it out. Some slabs are better than others, and we spend a lot of time looking them over to see what we've got in the stacks. It’s a simple business but it keeps everyone busy from sunrise until we close up the gates for the night. Sometimes we stay late if a big order needs to be ready for the morning, and we just order some tea and keep going until it’s finished.
