Amrutha Granites

Our shop is pretty easy to find since we are located right near the bus stand in Nizamabad. It’s a busy spot with people constantly moving around and buses pulling in and out. Being near the transport hub means we see a lot of different faces every day. We keep our granite slabs leaning against the walls so people can see the patterns as they walk by. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, and my back usually feels it by the end of the week. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the stone without breaking it. People from all over Nizamabad come here when they are doing up their kitchens or stairs. We don't do much advertising; most people just see us when they are catching a bus or heading to the market. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of wet stone because we use water when we’re cutting or polishing. It can get a bit crowded in the shop when a big delivery comes in, and we have to shuffle everything around to make room. We just keep it simple. You come in, pick a stone you like, and we figure out how to get it to your house. It’s been our routine for a long time now.
