Yadav Building Material

Started here in Village Hata Bujurg quite some time back. We are right near the Shiv Mandir in the Kajali area. Most days start early before the sun gets too high over Gorakhpur. You can hear the temple bells while we are sorting through things in the yard. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up. We mostly just deal with the basics people need for building around the village. There is always a lot of sand and gravel moving around. My clothes usually have a layer of cement dust by noon. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the trolleys. Sometimes the trucks get delayed on the narrow roads, which is just how it goes here. Most of the people coming by are neighbors or folks from the nearby clusters. We sit on the plastic chairs under the shade when it gets too hot to move. The phone rings a lot with people asking if we have stock ready. It is a lot of manual work, day in and day out. We do not have a big office, just a small desk and some ledgers to keep track of who took what. It stays busy enough to keep us on our feet. The monsoon makes everything a bit messy with the mud, but we manage. Just a local spot doing local work.
