Shamrock Patrick School

Our school is located on the Rajgram-Sbstc Bus Depot Road in Lokepur. Since Shamrock Patrick School is so near the bus depot, there is always a bit of traffic and movement around the area, but it makes it easy for parents to find us. Bankura is a quiet enough town, and we have settled in here nicely over the years. The building is a simple structure that we have tried to keep looking bright for the students. We have kids of different ages coming in every morning. Some are very small and others are a bit older and more serious about their studies. We do not have a massive sports field, but there is enough space for them to run around and play during the lunch break. The classrooms are filled with the usual things like desks, chairs, and maps on the walls. Our teachers live locally, so they know the families and the local problems kids might have. We spend a lot of time on the basic subjects. It is not always perfectly quiet; you can hear the buses honking nearby sometimes throughout the day. We just get on with the work. The office is small, usually where parents come to pay fees or ask about the next holidays. We do not use a lot of big words or have fancy brochures to hand out. People know us because their neighbors' kids come here. We just try to keep the school running and make sure the children learn something every day.
