Power House Road in the village of Salar is the place where you’ll see our office. If you are looking for us, just ask for the way to Ahammad Hasen’s place and you will be close. The power house is the big landmark around here, so we just tell people to look for that. The road can be a bit rough, especially after a heavy rain, but it’s the main way through the village. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of fans that wobble a bit when they are on the high setting. We have a big wooden table where we do most of our meetings and sorting. It’s a practical space without any extra decorations or fancy carpets. We like to keep things straightforward. People from the village come in with their questions, and we do our best to help them out without making things too complicated. Sometimes we have to wait for the electricity to come back on before we can finish certain tasks, but that’s just part of living here. We usually have a window open so we can see who is passing by on the road. It’s a very relaxed environment, and we don't feel the need to act like we are in a big city. We are just local people working in a local office, taking things one day at a time.
