About Nextgen Automation Pvt.Ltd. – Metals & Minerals in Bankura
Right now, we are mostly operating out of the F-40 block in Haldia, but our roots are really back in Biharjuria village in Bankura. It’s a bit of a balance between the two places. Haldia is very industrial, lots of plants and heavy machinery, which is where most of our automation work happens. Bankura is much quieter and slower. We spend a lot of time traveling back and forth. The office in Haldia is where we keep the tools and the technical stuff. It’s a basic setup, often smelling a bit like oil and old electronics. We spend long hours looking at circuits or trying to figure out why a machine stopped working. It isn't a desk job where you sit still all day. Our clothes usually end up with some grease on them by the afternoon. We grab lunch from the local dhabas, usually just some rice and dal. The humidity in this part of West Bengal can be brutal, making the workshop feel quite heavy. Sometimes we have to head back to the village for family stuff or just to get away from the industrial noise for a weekend. It is a lot of hard work and not much glamour. We just try to keep the machines running and help out the local factories when they run into trouble. It’s a simple life divided between the factory floor and the quiet roads of Bankura, just getting the job done.
