Mandira Laha

Bankura is a quiet place most of the time, but Cinema Road stays busy because of all the people moving through. I am Mandira Laha, and this is where I handle my daily business. Our spot is right there on that road, and if you have the pin code 722101, you can find us easily enough. It is not a very large space, just enough for what we need to do. I have lived in this area for a long time and I like the way the street feels in the evenings. The noise from the traffic becomes a bit of a background sound after you have been here for a few years. We do not do much in the way of advertising because people in Bankura mostly know who is who. The building itself is older, but it serves the purpose. I usually get in early before the heat starts to pick up. Sometimes the mail takes a while to reach Cinema Road, but we are used to that. It is just me and a couple of others keeping things running. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. You just walk in and we talk about whatever needs doing. It is practical and straightforward. Being near the cinema means there is always something happening outside, but inside we just focus on the tasks. It is a decent place to work and the locals are friendly.
