Out here in Bankura, things move at a bit of a different pace than the big city. Our office is located right on the Lalbazar Bye Pass Road in Ramkrishna Palli. It’s a decent spot, especially being on the bypass since it makes getting here fairly straightforward. Most of us at M N Dastur And Company P Ltd are locals from the district. We spend our mornings getting the office opened up and setting out the tasks for the day. It’s mostly technical work and staying on top of the various projects we have going on. The sun can get pretty hot in this part of West Bengal, so we’re always glad for the shade inside. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a bunch of colleagues who have known each other for years. We eat lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in town or with our families. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we're about. We just need our desks, our computers, and enough light to see what we're doing. People around here know where we are if they need to reach us.
