Jmc Projects (I) Ltd

Our spot at Jmc Projects (I) Ltd is tucked away in Matukganj, right over in Bishnupur. Being part of the Bankura district means we deal with a lot of dust and the typical West Bengal heat. We share the space near Sudhansu Ghosh's place, which makes it easier for people to find us if they know the neighborhood. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls and fancy furniture. It’s more of a place where we sit down with a notepad and figure out what needs to happen next on the site. Some mornings are busier than others, especially when the trucks are moving or we have to coordinate with the local guys. We try to keep things simple. If there is a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. The building itself is plain, just some desks and the usual office stuff you’d expect. Most of us have been working in this field for years, so we don't need to be told twice what to do. We usually take a break for lunch when the sun is highest. It’s a decent place to work, and we all know each other’s names. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just handle the project work that comes our way and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on the desks in the back room.
