Mejia is where we are based, and it is a fairly quiet place to have an office. Baidyanath Bhattacharya & Co. has been operating here for a good while now. The address is just Mejia, in the district, and that is really all you need to find us if you are looking. It is an old-fashioned kind of business. We still have these heavy wooden tables and big ledgers for the bookkeeping. We do not use computers for every little thing. There is something about writing things down by hand that feels more real and reliable to us. The building is old with those high ceilings and thick walls that manage to keep the heat out during the summer months. We spend our mornings going through the mail and checking the books. There are only a few of us working here. We have known each other for a long time, so we do not need to talk much to know what needs to be done next. We always have a tea break at four every afternoon, no matter how busy the day gets. The town outside is small, so we see the same people walking past our window every single day. We do not have a big, flashy sign outside, just a small one near the main door. It is a peaceful way to get work done. We are not in a rush to grow. We just handle the business as it comes.
