Anamoy Hospital

Anamoy Hospital is right by the Gobindanagar Bus Stand. It is a very loud and busy area because of all the buses coming and going at all hours. You can hear the conductors shouting and the engines idling from our front door. We have been here for years, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a basic building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people who are just passing through or coming from the smaller villages nearby. They often arrive tired from their journey. We have a small waiting area that fills up pretty fast in the afternoon. The doctors and nurses here are used to the fast pace. We don't have any fancy receptionists or high-tech kiosks. You just walk in and talk to the person at the desk. We handle all kinds of general health stuff, surgeries, and emergency cases that show up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which adds to the noise. It’s a practical place for people who need medical help without any of the extra frills. We focus on getting people seen and sent home. It’s a lot of hard work and the floors get dirty from all the foot traffic, but we keep cleaning and keep going. The location is the main reason people know us, right there where the buses stop.
