Our spot is out in Dudharitola, which is part of the Dudhari area in Banka block. It’s a village setting, so things move a bit slower than they do in the big towns. Subhakanksha Nidhi Limited is run out of Vindeshwari Panjiyara’s place. If you are coming through the village, you just look for the Panjiyara house in the Tola. There are fields all around and the air is a lot cleaner than what you get in the city. We don't have a fancy office building with a reception desk. It is more of a room where we sit and go over the papers. Being in a panchayat like Dudhari means we see the same faces every day. We know whose son is getting married and whose crop did well this season. That is just how it is here. We do our work between the morning chores and the evening rest. Sometimes we have to wait for someone to come back from the fields before we can finish a task. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't have a lot of high-tech equipment, just the basics to keep the records straight for the people here. The address might look long on paper, but for us, it is just home. We are glad to be part of the Banka community, helping out in our own small way without any big fuss or complicated rules for our neighbors.
