Mr Nathulal Badrilal Agrawal

The shop of Mr Nathulal Badrilal Agrawal is located on Bihpur Road. We are right in the Simrahi Bazar area, near Kohbarwa. This place has been around for a long time. People just call it by the family name. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly grains and items for the house. The bazar is a busy place and Bihpur Road is always full of people moving about. Our shop has a high ceiling and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler. We have old wooden counters that have become smooth from years of people leaning on them while they wait for their flour to be weighed. We don’t use those electronic scales, we still have the iron weights. It feels more solid that way. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. Near Kohbarwa, everyone knows each other, so there is a lot of talking. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late coming from the city, but people understand. We just try to keep the basics in stock. It is a simple way to run a business but it has worked for us for decades. We are just part of the furniture in Simrahi Bazar and we plan to stay that way for a long time.
