Our office is in the White House building, room 504. We are located on Road Number 13, just behind the Taj Banjara Hotel. It’s a pretty central spot in the city. We do design work here. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at desks with our computers. The office isn't very big, but it has a decent view of the street below. We get a lot of traffic noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We started this place about five years ago. We wanted a space that was close to everything. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or talking to clients on the phone. It’s not as messy as a factory, but we still have piles of paper and fabric samples everywhere. Sometimes we have to go out to project sites to see how things are coming along. The building has an elevator that’s a bit slow, so we usually take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. There’s a small tea stall around the corner where we go in the afternoons. It’s a good place to clear your head. We don’t have any big corporate signs in the lobby. You just have to know which floor we’re on. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Parking in this area is always a bit of a headache. If you don't get here early, you have to park two blocks away.
