Our spot at No.17/2 on the second floor of Kodigehalli Main Road is pretty easy to find because we’re right above the Sub-Register Office in Sahakamagar. Being on the second floor means we’re constantly carrying things up and down, but you get used to it after a while. The office and the storage area for Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Pvt.Ltd. are pretty much the same thing—it’s just rolls and rolls of tape stacked up on shelves and in corners. We deal with all kinds of sticky stuff, and sometimes the whole place smells like glue, which is just part of the job. Downstairs is always busy with people coming for legal paperwork, so there is a lot of noise from the street and the crowds, but up here we just keep our heads down and manage the inventory. We have desks tucked between the boxes where we handle the paperwork and take calls. It’s a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle things around to make space. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see fancy decor; it’s practical and a bit messy, like any place that handles a lot of physical goods. We spend our time checking rolls, packing orders, and making sure the labels are right. It’s a steady pace, and while the stairs can be a pain by the end of the shift, we like being in this part of town where everything is happening.
