SIERRA CIRCUITS INC

Our office is tucked away in J.P. Nagar 6th Phase, over on 15th Cross. It’s a pretty decent area of Bangalore, though the traffic on the main roads can be a nightmare during the rainy season. We are situated on the second floor of building number 607. Sierra Circuits has been around the electronics scene for a long time, and this branch handles a lot of the design and coordination work. The space is mostly filled with workstations where people are staring at layouts and wiring diagrams all day. It’s quiet inside compared to the street, which is good for concentration. We don’t really do the whole corporate hierarchy thing here; it’s more about whoever is free taking the call or helping out with a project. There’s a small break area where we have coffee and talk about things other than work sometimes. Most of our day is spent making sure the circuit designs are actually manufacturable and won’t cause problems later on. We deal with a lot of back-and-forth emails with clients and the production teams. It’s not a flashy job, but it’s steady. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a design for a deadline, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more apartments and small cafes opening up nearby, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same.
